Zeinab Ali is the Lead Data Scientist at the UN Office in Abu Dhabi. She has worked in various capacities across the UN system in Africa and Asia Pacific before taking on her current assignment in the UAE. Her area of expertise is development instruments for measurement of progress, and the use of technology and big data to capture and track trends in sustainable development. A hallmark of her previous work was introducing new innovations to strengthen governance and accountability of the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission of Kenya. She is also a PhD candidate at the University of Middlesex, UK.
